In 10th grade World Histroy, we were learning about primary documents and how they differ from secondary documents. Are assignment was to find a primary document about ourselves. Many students chose to take snapshots of their facebook or instagram accounts/posts to demonstrate their primary documents. I, on the other hand, chose to take a picture of my journal. This is a primary document because I wrote it during my living time period. It was an interpreted story or artifact passed down from generations. It was my primary document. The purpose of this project was to show our basic understanding and knowledge of what a primary document is.
